The Good Governance programme at Re-ACT Lab is dedicated to promoting and advancing principles and practices that contribute to effective governance at both the central and local levels. Our aim is to foster transparency, accountability, civic inclusion, and the rule of law to ensure that political, social, and economic priorities are based on broad consensus and that the voices of all citizens, including the poorest and most vulnerable, are heard in decision-making processes.
Rule of Law Initiatives: Advocating for the establishment and enforcement of transparent, independent, and impartial judicial systems, and promoting legal reforms to strengthen the rule of law.
Monitoring and Assessing Implementation: Monitoring and assessing the implementation of key national, regional, and international agreements, such as the Stabilisation and Association Agreement and the European Reform Agenda, to ensure compliance and progress.
Public Consultations: Facilitating public consultations at both the central and local levels, providing platforms for citizen engagement, public debates, and consultation on draft laws, policies, and strategies.
Public Administration Reform: Monitoring and assessing public administration reform efforts, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending reforms to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and citizen-oriented service delivery.
Integrity in Public Procurement: Monitoring and assessing the integrity of public procurement processes, promoting transparency, fairness, and competition, and combating corruption in public procurement.

Transparency and Accountability: We promote, monitor and assess the openness, accessibility, and integrity in public administration, financial management, and decision-making, reducing corruption and enhancing public trust.
Rule of Law: We uphold the primacy of law, ensuring that legal frameworks are enforced consistently and that institutions operate in accordance with established norms and standards.
Civic Inclusion: We focus on empowering marginalized and vulnerable groups, promoting equal access to rights, services, and opportunities for all citizens.
